Description: Synthetic compound with structure based on defensin from dermatophytic fungus Microsporum canis; no activity against filamentous fungi or yeast (i.e. Saccharomyces cerevisiae); no haemolysis vs mammalian erythrocytes at 50 uM and stable in mouse serum (lethal concentration to bacteria at 0.054 to 23.42 uM)
