Description: Synthetic compound (vertical spiral structure); not cytotoxic to human cells (human liver & kidney cells LD50 at >80 uM and human lung fibroblasts LD50 >25 uM) at MIC required to inhibit VRE and MRSA (MIC 2-4 uM); no murine nephrotoxicity observed; systemic efficacy observed vs K. pneumoniae infection (81.8% mouse survival rate)
