Details of activity: Broad spectrum antibiotic which a particular potency against Gram positives which also translated well in mouse models of both the parenteral or oral routes. When tested on Xanthomonas maltophilia (in vitro), its activity was similar to ciprofloxacin but worse that clinafloxacin and PD 131628.
